It isn’t really an outing or something just a stop by for our OJT but since we need to know our surroundings, Let the Adventure BEGIN!
Just looking at the clouds it would be really nice if we stroll a bit

CLOUD

Always remember to have strength and Never be scared if you got lost you only need to ask direction if you got lost 🙂
#1 RULE IN LIFE ALWAYS SMILE

After a tiring walk we’ve found a Starbucks near our OJT place, since we haven’t ate breakfast yet, because of an immediate call we have to go here right away. Thank God for  the successful interview and all the blessings that we got so far.

Even if it’s a stressful day always remember to :
1. Pray and Thank the Lord our God.
2. Think positive
3. Be courageous
4. Love nature
5. Enjoy the day!

⌘ ⌘ ⌘

After enjoying a late breakfast with Ann, Tin and Lj they went home and as for me I would go to my brother’s office, It was kinda funny for I used Waze but well I am walking so it is kinda obvious what happened to me my real plan is to go to my brothers’ office yet I am so freaking lost and have asked almost 5-8 guards here in Makati and while at it I enjoyed walking because it is easier for me to memorize my path when I finally found my brother’s office he told me to go to Ayala Triangle, well actually it is near so that’s alright. Even if  I walked almost an hour just to find his office but whatever at least It’s worth it I enjoyed the lights no wonder my brother want’s me to go there. It’s so cool…

After the show we’ve walk and bought some ice cream at Caramia. It so delicious you guys better try it!!!!! IT TASTE LIKE CAKE! SERIOUSLY !!! LOVE IT ❤ So better buy one!!!!!

For those who haven’t see the lights at Ayala Triangle better go I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it ❤ Have a Happy Makativenture ❤ 🙂

Pink Chiffon -Marikina

Cupcakes, also known as fairy cakes, patty cakes, is a

cake to be baked in small cups.

Having the cute and tempting appearance, you can enjoy toothsome flavor of your favorite cake flavors in a bite size, making cupcakes .. more enchanting.

1.1

One of the most talked cupcake shops nowadays is the Pink Chiffon located at Marikina along Lilac Street. Its place makes every girl wants to go and visit the store for it is themed with a “girly-tea cup-party” theme which is by the way loved by most of the girls specially teenagers and the baby cuties! 🙂

Now, to start this “Pink Chiffon” experience, I ordered three (3) flavors of cupcakes available in here (oreo cheesecake. blueberry cheesecake, and red velvet). Let’s start tasting with OREO CHEESECAKE 😉

WP_20150308_102

OREO CHEESECAKE

***********

I love Oreo cookies so when I came across this cute cupcake shops, I can’t wait to try this! Their Oreo cheesecake is a semi-sweet chocolate cupcake topped with Oreo cookies and frosting, which I think is a no-bake version of Oreo cheesecake because I can feel the cool sensation as I go munch this yummy cupcake!

WP_20150308_100

BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

**********

This blueberry cheesecake is a combination of bitter-sweet flavor of blueberries and rich cheesecake. Their blueberry cheesecake has a light and fluffy texture, making your every creamy and fruity bite melt in your mouth. What I love the most about this cupcake, just like what mentioned earlier, it has bitter-sweet taste that burst in to your mouth!

WP_20150308_097

RED VELVET CUPCAKE

*********

Everyone, especially me, seems to really love and enjoy the luscious taste of red velvet cupcake! Lucky for me, Pink Chiffon is really a master of creating one! Their red velvet is topped with lovely swirls of cream frosting. This made me fall in love with the red-and-white color. For me, this is Pink Chiffon’s top-nutch recipe when it comes to their cupcakes. Go, treat yourselves a delicious bite of sugary and frosty red velvet cupcake at Pink Chiffon. Everybody deserves a red velvet like this!

Now, to complete my own sweet escape, I ordered a drink called Carrot Punch (I think carrot punch/juice is popular at Caribbean). Just to try it though 🙂

WP_20150308_105

CARROT PUNCH

**********

Oh, so energizing carrot punch! It will surely give you a refreshing feeling. It not only taste good, it also has health benefits like it is highly cleansing. Thanks to this, I am going healthy! Try it too! It could be a refreshing excuse for you to boost your health, and start being a vegetarian! (Carrot is a vegetable! I never knew that I could drink vegetables too! 😀 )

So, put your butt up and start your day chilling at Pink Chiffon! You’ll find it extra sweet. Oh, I almost forgot! They also have nail lounge at the shop’s 2nd floor. A perfect place to date your ladies! What do you think, Guys? 🙂 I am sure she’ll like it!

*Cupcakes price/s : P50.00 each

*Carrot punch price : P65.00

Pan De Amerikana, The Chess Themed Restaurant

1.13

Picture-postcard places are the best places to go to because it makes us feel that whenever you are in that place you know that there is something that can excite you, and something that you already know would still surprise you! One of the best places that I’ve ever been too and so far my favorite is Pan De Amerikana -one of the only five (5) Chess -themed restaurant around the world  found over Marikina. Based from my research, this is there original branch but they also have another branch at Katipunan but with a different theme.

WP_20150308_001

As soon as I stepped out of the car, this big wind mill really caught my attention, aside from its size, it reminded me of the old or traditional culture making my dine-in experience at this restaurant somehow nostalgic, and romantic. When you enter the restaurant, it is getting more adorable and exciting. It feels like your in your dream place.

Upon entering, their employee accommodate and offers me a table. I noticed their ceiling decorations are mainly composed of vines and vintage style of lights. I like it because it makes the place cooler and relaxing.

WP_20150308_015

TRIVIA: The photo shown below are collections of the owner’s master piece of photography, and his name is Sir Jundio Salvador. Some of his works are featured in many events, and are awarded with titles. They use it as a wall decoration to enhance the beauty of the restaurant and also to inspire their customers through these master pieces.

WP_20150308_020

Not to mention their cute chess piece-like order number and their vintage look menu book! This really fit with the theme of Pan De Amerika. Their table is also customized with printed chess board so you could play chess on it just ask the crew for the chess piece/s.

WP_20150308_013

Two of my favorite menu here are their Carbonara and Chicken barbecue. The Carbonara is worth P158.00 that will make your taste buds satisfied. It’s saucy in a way that it wont give you “cloying (umay/sawa in tagalog) factor”, while their juicy chicken barbecue is worth P70.00 only served with rice, and atsara (a Filipino side dish). For a perfect meal? Partner them with a pitcher of their red iced tea (P90.00)!
1.1111111

And who says the fun is over? We are just getting started. Did you know that they have this big space for their big chess board? Yep! They are free! Feel free to play it, and take pictures of yourselves .. a selfie or with a group! It is a great way actually to bond with your friends or family. A “not-so-ordinary” way of beating your opponent by just having fun!
1.1111111111

They also have this mini Greek inspired space for the players so they could have a better view as they play on the big chess board.

WP_20150308_079

In line with this,Pan De Amerika also have a space intended for picture taking. You could sit on the rocking chair located on both sides. Enjoy the 1950 feels! Look! Even the kids are enjoying it! How about you? Are you just gonna sit there  and wish you’re at their position? Start exploring this place guys! It wont let you down 😉

WP_20150308_023

So what else are you looking for? Great and picture-postcard place? Good food? affordable? NO SERVICE CHARGE restaurant? That’s heading to PAN DE AMERIKANA! This place is absolutely a PERFECT 10! 😉

Te Amo, Amo Yamie!

The quote, “Give yourself a treat” has been one of the common drive of students nowadays. Each and everyone of us is craving for some time to cool down for a while and take a break from the stressful school assignments, activities, projects, reports, and for senior college students – thesis, and internships.

To our delight, we heard about this viral shop all over the internet and a consistent word-of-mouth for the past few months. A branch located along U-Belt, Amo Yamie Crib, a cafe and movie house, is a definite trend to try!

11047183_1573194939563826_541741821_n

photo by @cristinestunner (Cristine Nicole Bituin) on Instagram

Unlike any other coffee shops, Amo Yamie Crib’s beverages are put in handy jars in a creative manner which we – me and my friends – find it new in the market and very eye-catchy. Their coffee and beverages are designed artistically which are really an eye for photography as well. And as a frustrated photographer practicing the art of minimalism style, I didn’t waste the chance to take good photos of their food. Coffee and photography are two of my favorite things in life so for me it’s really a good combination.

Smart and beautiful!

11040312_1573195939563726_1319131106_n

Curious about the taste? Well, I must say, it’s really good! In line with it, their menu matches their cool and beautiful cafe. Their frost and frappe names are inspired in fairy tales like Once Upon A Nutella, Wizard of Oreo, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, Jav-alladin, Jack & Jelly, Little Mermint, and the Three Maltesers.

Aside from coffee, they also offer treats like fries, tacos, and waffles. Here are two of our good picks, the banoffee waffle and nachos.

11051379_1573194999563820_688362116_n

Another thing that also caught my attention is their interior design. The shop doesn’t have the typical tables, because they have this “crib”, as what they call, wherein customers can relax. In fact they are cute cribs, small but comfy. It’s really an area for friends to cherish a moment of fun. I haven’t took any photo inside the shop because it was filled with people everytime we visit but I took a shot of their lights there and I find it very artsy. Cool creation!

Besides traveling to explore and go from this place to that place, we also travel because of everybody’s first love — FOOD! ❤ We are so blessed to have a chance to travel to Nasugbu,Batangas! Actually, Nasugbu is well known for its beautiful sceneries and resorts but we would like to share something that Nasugbu must really be proud of. It’s the Lady Christine’s Baby Back Ribs! Want to know why? Below are the 7 main reasons why.

7: Ready to Serve you! The Lady Christine’s Baby Back Ribs is open from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm. There’s no need for you, your family, or your friends to hurry just to get a mouthwatering piece of food like this:

(Ahhhhh! That is soooo sweet of them! Don’t you want to have a date like this?)

Good work Lady Christine’s for making them feel welcome and appreciated at your restaurant! ★★★★★ for you!

5: Soccer on table We know that everyone knows table soccer or football but we really like the idea of placing it inside their restaurant as it adds animation to the place. It also (at least for us) serves as a reminder that we are never too old or too young to be in this place.

Note: We are just not sure if it is for display purposes only or they give permission on playing it. We hope they do! 🙂

4: Are we in Australia? Nope! But because of the owners creative, and playful mind, you can feel that we are in Australia though we are not. Lady Christine’s Baby Back Ribs uses Australian motif–that’s why. This a hash tag for AustralianTouch! Never underestimate the power of hash tag! 10893598_891183557599277_1983076048_n

Everything! Just everything is cool at this place! and not to mention its

3: Good Ambiance! This place truly serves good ambiance that fits the restaurant. Lights will welcome you as you enter Lady Christine’s. We also easily noticed and get hooked by its cleanliness, and comfy feeling. The background music also makes us relax after all the work. You know .. This could be a perfect place for your sweet “meat” escape. 🙂

A Japanese Foodscape

Tired of the usual food chains and restaurants around? The past holidays had a perfect reason to bond with your family, friends, and loved ones. And I discovered a new food experience. SumoSam is definetely one of the flawless food trip restaurants I’ve encountered.

522126_881318711903012_1732146653930411107_n

10888795_881318798569670_7611765736202772858_n

Sumo Sam is a Japanese casual dining restaurant. From where I’ve tried it, it’s located at 2nd Floor of SM The Block (SM City North EDSA, The Block, North Ave, Sto. Cristo, Quezon City) and it has now more than 20 branches nationwide. If you’re fond of discovering new places to eat, you should try it here.

10403055_881318781903005_6056013632045206174_n

It’s not only good for the tummy. The food is served in a presentable way and it’s good for the eyes. Food visuals, indeed. Anyone who has a hobby in photography might wanna take pictures of the food here.

The best menu I’ve tasted was their bento and sizzling seafood. Unlike any other bentos I have tried, this is the best one for me so far. It has this exceptional taste that can definitely satisfy one’s cravings.

Milk and Dogs

To all the dog lovers out there, we’re sure that Barkin’ Blends Dog Cafe will be a perfect place for you.

COBCOB

The cafe just opened last September 2014, located at Katipunan, Quezon City near Ateneo De Manila University. Barkin’ Blends finally brought the dog cafe to the Philippines.

10703916_881291281905755_8535428321210286489_n

They have more than 10 breed of dogs and for only 180 pesos (milk tea included), you can have an access to their dogs’ area to play with them, hug, and take photos (or selfies). The cafe also observed cleanliness all the time. They have set of slippers, hand sanitizers, and all.

10488167_881295188572031_1288637193618336990_n

We did not let a chance pass, so our barkada decided to spend some time and visit. T’was another first time for us to experience buying the usual milk tea blends with an opportunity to play with dogs at the same time. What a really great delight!

Baguio Venture

Christmas is a time for family and loved ones. This is a good reason for us to take a short vacation in Baguio for a peaceful and fun experience.

Our first stop was the church of Our Lady of Manaoag to pray for our safe trip ahead. After the mass, we bought some candles that are blessed in the church, lighted up some, and prayed. I find it nice because we’re able to visit this church once in a while and give thanks to our Lord.

✡ ✡ ✡

On our way to Baguio, we stop by at the Lion head at the Kennon Road which was indeed awesome! This Lion Head also signifies that it’s the start of our cool, relaxing, and ease experience here at Baguio. No wonder Baguio City is filled with tourists, regardless of the weather. It’s so cold, but it’s okay. As long as my family and I enjoy the stay, it’s worth it.

994438_10200175600508863_6495647155087712149_n

✡ ✡ ✡

After few moments, we finally arrived at the Scout Barrio area where we have stayed for 3 days. There’s this wide field there where you can play any kind of sports with your family and friends. In addition, you can also go to the woods to go biking and more. It was really fun even though it was just a short time.

10884402_10200175549907598_791065363_n

✡ ✡ ✡

On the first day, after settling things up at Scout Barrio, we went to Camp John Hay. I thought we would walk around or explore the place but we ended up finding good places to eat, having food trip there. Our first food target location was Army Navy. We ordered chicken which was very delicious. We also tried ice cream in FIC (Fruit in Ice Cream) which was a good reason why I’m still craving now. I think, one point of difference of food establishments in Baguio and in Manila (like Army Navy, there’s a lot in Manila) is the fact that you will appreciate the food more because of the Baguio ambiance, unlike the food experience if you’re in Manila which is a city that is always busy.

✡ ✡ ✡

The next day, we went again to Camp John Hay. We went to a park and to Mini-Golf. On our way, we saw some people who are camping out and some having picnics. When we got to the Mini-Golf Course, we saw a mini shop where they sell food like barbeque, hotdog, and balut, We have spent our day there hanging out, winding up, and eating.

✡ ✡ ✡

As for our last day in Baguio City, we took a chance to shop some souvenirs and bought some fresh strawberries at the market place. It was great relaxing and chilling for 3 days in Baguio.

The trip was so nice; our family would always love to go back.
